Angelica Giovagnoli

She is a PhD student in Industrial Chemistry at University of Bologna. She started her PhD on November 2023 and she's working in collaboration with SACMI, World Leader Company for Polymers machinery production. She developed synthetic additives fully bio-based to improve barrier properties of paper for fully- cellulose based packaging. She is passionated about environmental sustainability so her challenge is to find simple solutions, but with high performance and a high impact, not only environmental, but also economic and above all social. To do this she alternates her project between academic laboratories and the industrial technological environment to ensure that her scientific research can be brought to an industrial scale packaging's production.
