Agustín Ibáñez is an Argentine neuroscientist and professor who directs the Latin American Brain Health Institute (BrainLat) at the Adolfo Ibáñez University in Chile and is a Senior Atlantic Fellow at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI). His research focuses on global approaches to dementia and social, cognitive, and affective neuroscience, emphasizing the impact of diversity, socioeconomic factors, and the exposome on brain health. He is a leader in developing regional initiatives like ReDLat to expand dementia research and training in Latin America and has published extensively in top-tier journals.
