BERLIN SCIENCE WEEK
Every year Berlin Science Week transforms the city into a vibrant festival of scientific ideas, exploration and experimentation.
This year’s theme was COMMON GROUND. With the belief that science can bridge boundaries, ideologies, and cultures, we provided a platform where knowledge was openly shared, and the world’s most pressing challenges could be tackled collectively. Our aim was to highlight the central role of science in fostering a cooperative, inclusive, and informed society and to invite participants to engage in an inspiring dialogue.
1 — 10 NOVEMBER
Over the course of 10 days, we ignited a lively programme of over 300 events across our two dynamic festival hubs, as well as various other venues throughout the city and online.
PROGRAMME 2024
Our lively programme covered vast areas of scientific exploration; from nature to technology, society and more. Through discussions and talks, workshops, science slams, performances and films, Berlin Science Week brought diverse viewpoints together to spark curiosity and nurture a deeper understanding of our world.
SHARE YOUR IDEAS
We're inviting you to share your thoughts and ideas around this year's guiding question, 'How can science help bridge divides?'. The platform is still accessible, and we encourage you to continue submitting your thoughts – even after the festival – to further contribute to this ongoing dialogue. Share your ideas here.
