Artivism and Augmented Reality: The Potential of Art and Technology for Activism

illuseum.org

Join our closing event for the Berlin Science Week featuring a talk on marine conservation, a workshop on how to use AR for activism, and a guided tour of Michaela Konrad's AR-enhanced exhibition!

This closing event features a talk by the Illuseum owner on his new non-profit, illuseum.org, dedicated to environmental protection and marine conservation through art and activism. The focus will be on the significance of sea turtles for marine biodiversity, followed by a workshop on using augmented reality for storytelling and activism, and a guided tour of Michaela Konrad's AR-enhanced exhibition.

During the workshop, you will get an introduction with examples on augmented reality (AR) projects used for activism and storytelling. Then you will learn how to create your first simple AR project with the platform Artivive.

Please bring your own laptop and download the free app Artivive on your phone.
