Carbon Instead (D) develops solutions to decarbonize the building materials industry using the negative emission technology BCR (Biochar Carbon Removal). Our focus is on the treatment of BCR carbons to ensure their optimal use in building materials. As part of the circular economy, Carbon Instead uses residual materials and biomass to enable sustainable building materials that can themselves be integrated into the production cycle. Over the last four years, we have established ourselves as an innovative partner by co-developing various patents and working closely with leading industry and research partners. Our approach covers the entire value chain to enable large-scale, circular, resilient and economical production and integration of carbon sinks.
