He has extensive national and international management experience: Medical Director of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), various management positions at the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), advisor and private secretary at the Ministry of Health, representative for Mexico of the patient safety movement USA/WHO. Professor of postgraduate courses in his speciality with several publications in the field of health and national and international lecturer. Member of the board of directors of the Mexican Academy of Surgery.
