Horst Bredekamp is an art historian and professor of Art & Image History at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. As Senior Deputy Director, he leads the Cluster of Excellence “Matters of Activity. Image, Space, Material” together with Peter Fratzl, Claudia Mareis and Wolfgang Schäffner.
