Alexandra Tost

Alexandra Tost studied Political Science, Economics and International Development Studies in Potsdam, Bogotá and Marburg. She is currently working as a researcher at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) – Helmholtz-Zentrum Potsdam. There she is part of the research group “Democratic Governance for Ecopolitical Transformations”, where she conducts research on Green Extractivism with a focus on South America. Between her studies and her current position, Alexandra Tost worked in political and technical cooperation in Peru, Chile, Colombia and Brazil from 2014 to 2020.
