Hygiene and distancing measures are in place at all event locations. Please check with the organisers which rules are applied at the venue.

Berlin Science Week Campus

Each person entering the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin is required to submit their contact information (First name, last name, address, telephone number and email address), in accordance with the Protection Against Infection Act.

On-site the protective and hygienic measures of the Museum für Naturkunde apply. The so-called 3G rule (for “geimpft, genesen oder getestet“, i.e. “vaccinated, recovered or tested”) is in place: Anyone who is not fully vaccinated or is not considered recovered will be required to provide a recent negative Covid-19 test. Visiting the event is permitted with a medical face mask only.

The full programme of in-person, hybrid, or all-digital events has been published since the end of September. You will find all event related information in the respective event page.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR EVENTS?

Many organisations require your registration prior to the event, especially for in-person formats. Please always check in the respective event page  if a registration is required in advance!

ARE ALL EVENTS FREE OF CHARGE?

The majority of events are free of charge! However, there are a few events that require a fee. Please go to the event page and have a look at the details.

HOW CAN I CONNECT WITH OTHER PARTICIPANTS?

We are proud to include Braindate this year to Berlin Science Week!

These are one-on-one or small group conversations based on topics posted by you and fellow participants in the Braindate Topic Market. They can be used to brainstorm, solve challenges, share expertise or experiences while meeting new (brilliant!) people.

WILL ALL DIGITAL EVENTS BE RECORDED?

As a festival, we want to come together live — many formats are interactive. However, some events can be viewed afterwards. Sig-up for our newsletter to stay tuned!
