++CANCELLED++ Digital Disruption in a Post-Pandemic World

ZHAW Zürcher Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften | Fredrik Hacklin, Dirk Cohausz, Linus Dahlander, Stephan Liening, Bar Schwartz

The 'new normal' for innovation and digital business models

In only a few months’ time, the COVID-19 crisis has brought about years of change in the way companies throughout all sectors do business. Due to the extraordinary circumstances triggered by the pandemic, consumer behavior and spending changed dramatically. Many companies found themselves facing a cliff edge; they were forced to rethink all aspects of their operations to survive – and thrive – or to witness their business closing. This new imperative has turned into being both bold and agile. Today’s resilience problem-solving may be tomorrow’s disruptive innovation.

In this symposium, the panelists aim to uncover how the COVID-19 pandemic has created a ‘new normal’ for innovation and digital business models and discuss strategic avenues for digital disruption in a post-pandemic world.
