Anisia Petcu has a background in literature and cultural science and has previously worked as a university lecturer and as a social worker dealing with issues of discrimination and racism. She wants to make knowledge and dialogue as open and accessible as possible, and to bring science to everyone, irrespective of background or social status. She is particularly excited about the interdisciplinary and internationality of the festival, which she sees as key towards inclusive and transparent scientific exchange and engagement. In the Berlin Science Week team, she is responsible for coordinating and curating the programme – all 200 events of it!
