Das ADLERSHOFER FORSCHUNGSFORUM gibt Einblicke in die Highlights der Forschung aus Adlershof und Gelegenheit zum wissenschaftlichen Austausch.
Zum Abschluss der Berlin Science Week bietet das ADLERSHOFER FORSCHUNGSFORUM am 11. November 2022 eine Keynote, Vorträge sowie Kurzpräsentationen renommierter Wissenschaftler_innen sowie von Unternehmensvertreter_innen des Wissenschafts- und Technologieparks Adlershof.
Mit einer begleitenden Posterschau informiert der wissenschaftliche Nachwuchs aus Adlershof über seine aktuellen Projekte.
Das ADLERSHOFER FORSCHUNGSFORUM ist eine gemeinsame Veranstaltung der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, der IGAFA e. V. und der WISTA Management GmbH. Die ganztägige Standortkonferenz wird im Erwin Schrödinger-Zentrum in Adlershof stattfinden.

Prof. Dr. Mathias Richter, born in 1959 in Marburg, studied physics in his home town from 1978 and graduated later from Hamburg University. Since his diploma thesis carried out in 1983/84 at the Hamburger Synchrotronstrahlungslabor (HASYLAB) of the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), the application of synchrotron radiation has represented the central theme of his scientific work.
At the beginning of his career, emphasis was laid on atomic physics. Hamburg (Ph.D. in 1988), Paris (Postdoc in 1989/90) and Berlin (since September 1990) have been the significant stages.
In 1996, he was awarded the German professorship qualification at Berlin Technical University. After that, he concentrated on metrology using synchrotron radiation at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany’s national metrology institute. Responsible for UV and VUV radiometry since 1997, he has from then on also undertaken applied research in the PTB laboratories at the electron storage rings BESSY I (till 1999) and BESSY II (since 2000). Richter is Head of PTB’s Division 7 “Temperature and Synchrotron Radiation” and adjunct professor at the Technische Universiträt Berlin.

Stefan Hecht was born in 1974 and grew up in Berlin, where he studied chemistry at Humboldt-Universität from 1992-1997. He carried out his Diplom thesis research in the area of organic photochemistry with the late Prof. William G. Dauben at the University of California, Berkeley. After receiving his diploma from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 1997, he returned to Berkeley to pursue his graduate studies in the field of organic polymer chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Jean M. J. Fréchet and obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2001. Directly after, he started his independent academic career as a young investigator (assistant professor) at Freie Universität Berlin (2001-2004) and continued as a group leader (associate professor) at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research in Mülheim upon Ruhr (2005-2006). From 2006-2019 he held the Chair of Organic Chemistry and Functional Materials at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In August 2019, Prof. Hecht became the Scientific Director of the Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials (DWI) in Aachen and holds the Chair of Macromolecular Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University.
